In May 2020, during the first COVID 19 lockdown in the UK, I collaborated with fine artist Maisie Broadhead to create two portraits of intensive care nurse Zöe Broadhead. At the time Zöe was in the thick of working long shifts in the crowded critical care wards of a large London hospital.

These portraits are a salute to the dedicated and hard working NHS staff like Zöe, acknowledging the extreme pressure and adversity they face.

‘Remians’ and ‘Witness’ are released for sale with 65% of profits going to the Intensive Care Society, which provides crucial wellbeing and emotional support to the intensive care community to help them deal with the impact of COVID-19.
